Database Monitoring
Back to glossaryDatabase monitoring is the process by which the performance of a given database is assessed in real time. The goal is to ensure a database server is functioning optimally, both in terms of software and hardware. On top of providing the visibility to troubleshoot and remediate problems, database monitoring returns insights that can be used to improve the performance of the database over time to constantly optimize the service’s performance.
Centreon offers a wide variety of connectors (Plugin Packs) to facilitate Database Monitoring: MySQL/MariaDB, ElasticSearch, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Firebird, Informix, PostgreSQL or Sybase.
