Every month, Centreon extends its monitoring connector catalog and implements new connectors, allowing you to connect your IT monitoring with always more ITOps tools.

The result: increased visibility and business observability capabilities. We also offer enhancements and fixes on existing connectors.

This April 2024, we’re introducing three new monitoring connectors and a few enhancements and fixes on existing ones.

Reminder: There is a new name for our Plugin Packs. We will now refer to them as Monitoring Connectors.

3 new monitoring connectors were added to the catalog this month

Azure Database for PostgreSQL

Use the Azure Database for PostgreSQL monitoring connector enables to monitor a PostgreSQL database in an Azure environment. It collects metrics such as CPU, memory, storage or inbound/outbound network traffic.

Infor ION Grid

Infor ION Grid is a middleware solution for integrating Infor and third-party applications, enabling applications to be updated and replaced without impacting the network.

The Infor ION Grid monitoring connector collects various metrics linked to applications and nodes, such as status, uptime and CPU usage.

Service discovery rules are also available for these elements.

Veeam WSMAN

The Veeam WSMAN monitoring connector offers a new protocol for accessing Veeam metrics (job status, licenses, etc.) using WSMAN.

This is an experimental  monitoring connector..

Bug Fixes

Azure SQL Database

Fixed the Cloud-Azure-Database-SqlDatabase-Api-Cpu command.

Elasticsearch

Removed two useless macros from the App-DB-Elasticsearch-Indice-Statistics-custom service template.

Linux NRPE4

The ‘storage’ mode now takes the reserved space of the file systems into account.

Linux SSH

The ‘storage’ mode now takes the reserved space of the file systems into account.

Enhancements

Dell S-series

New filtering option supported for the SNMP IDs of the interfaces.

Generic SNMP

Enhanced the functionality provided by the ‘–convert-custom-values’ option of the ‘string-value’ mode.

Windows SNMP

The ‘services’ mode can now filter using non-ASCII characters.

Breaking changes

Active Directory

Changed the default NRPE plugin and options for Active Directory.
