Every month, Centreon extends its monitoring connector catalog and implements new ones, allowing you to connect your IT monitoring with always more ITOps tools.
The result: increased visibility and business observability capabilities. We also offer enhancements and fixes on existing connectors.
This March 2024, we’re introducing two new monitoring connectors and a few enhancements and fixes on existing ones.

2 new monitoring connectors were added to the catalog this month
Datacore SANsymphony RESTAPI monitoring connector
The Datacore SANsymphony RESTAPI monitoring connector enables you to monitor all monitor alerts and statuses. It features a discovery rule for pool identifiers available on the Datacore Sansymphony server via the Rest API features
Linux NRPE4 monitoring connector
The Linux NRPE4 monitoring connector enables the monitoring of a Linux server (CPU, Load, Memory, Swap) using the NRPE V4 protocol. It replaces the NRPE3 connector, now deprecated. It integrates the following services: CPU utilization rate controls, controls for server load, RAM usage, system synchronization with NTP server, correct configuration of NRPE v4 protocol, virtual memory usage and length of time the server has been running without interruption. The connector integrates two discovery rules for disk partitions (monitoring of space occupation) and network interfaces (status and usage monitoring).

Fixed an issue causing Perl warnings for ‘use of uninitialized value.’
Bluemind SSH
On Webserver service template, use Storable as cache method to fix an issue.
Generic SNMP
Fixed the App-Protocol-SNMP-Host command and a random behavior on SNMP-Collection.
Socomec Net Vision UPS SNMP
Fixed the Netvision version detection in the plugin.

Linux NRPE3
Added Open-Files, Pending-Updates and Systemd-Journal service templates. This monitoring connector is now deprecated. For a more standard deployment, monitor your Linux servers using Linux NRPE4.
