The announcement marks Centreon’s first partnership in Austria.

Paris & Toronto—May 19, 2021. Centreon, a trusted global provider of business-aware IT monitoring for always-on operations and performance excellence, announced today a first partnership in Austria. Solutionbox Informationstechnologie GmbH is a one-stop IT service provider based in Salzburg. The partners share a vision for ITOPs monitoring focused on business KPIs which simplifies and adds value in the management of highly complex and distributed IT environments.

Founded in 2004 and counting today 50 employees, Solutionbox lives by a simple rule: deliver the right IT solution to each and every client. Local presence, agility, and close proximity to clients are the pillars of their approach to IT service. Their partnership with Centreon falls within this context. “Our teams constantly aim to provide more value to clients’ IT operations through making recommendations for innovation and optimizations. Entering into a partnership with Centreon and leveraging its Business Edition, we’re now helping clients refocus monitoring of complex and distributed IT environments on business-centered KPIs,” explains Martin Wolfger, CEO of Solutionbox.

Solutionbox is partnering with Centreon to be able to provide clients a central and collaborative platform, capable of monitoring every kind of infrastructure in different environments (Hyper-V, VMWare, Azure Cloud, etc.) as well as in multi-tenancy and geographically distributed contexts. Service and SLA-focused ITOps monitoring helps demonstrate that client requirements for IT service are met while also highlighting possible infrastructure optimizations. “This is an area where Centreon excels: helping partners add value through a deep understanding of the health and performance of ever-changing IT environments,” explains Marc-Antoine Hostier, Chief Revenue Officer at Centreon. “We make it easy for our partners to resolve issues faster, see where optimizations can be made, streamline their own operations, and pass along the added performance and efficiency gain to their own clients. We’re pleased now to be closer to Austrian businesses through our partnership with Solutionbox.”

The partners worked hand in hand in the midst of a pandemic in 2020 to train a team of 6 system engineers and implement their first pan-European monitoring project for an enterprise client. “Through advanced service mapping, analytics and reporting capabilities, we built a highly connected and immersive IT monitoring platform. As we’re responsible for a client’s complex server environment, we no longer juggle with multiple tools, which was slowing our system engineers,” explains Martin. “Now, our team is equipped to provide clients added value through constant optimization and more efficient work processes, consistently generating savings through better resource allocation.”
