Centreon Introduces Centreon Cloud, A full SaaS IT Monitoring Platform

Newsroom Centreon Introduces Centreon Cloud, A full SaaS IT Monitoring Platform

Adding a SaaS option to their portfolio, Centreon becomes the market’s only software company with the capacity to provide advanced business-aware monitoring
across on-premise and SaaS deployments.

Paris & Toronto—November 18, 2021—Responding to emerging customer and market needs and pursuing its growth, Centreon, a trusted partner for IT operational excellence announces a SaaS option for their IT monitoring software.

Today, no matter their size, organizations are embracing a new, cloud-centered era. The diversity of infrastructure that needs monitoring is constantly expanding, and interconnection with legacy environments, which aren’t going away, increases complexity. Gartner predicts that by 2025, 85% of companies will have a cloud-first strategy.1

A survey of 600 CIOs in Europe and North America conducted by Vanson Bourne for Centreon revealed that IT monitoring is a top priority for 89% of respondents, yet only 27% say they are satisfied with the visibility they have on their IT infrastructure, reporting that on average, only 61% of assets are monitored.

Centreon’s clients will be able to select an on-premises or SaaS deployment. Both delivery models can coexist within the same organization, giving teams more flexibility in building their monitoring project.

With Centreon Cloud, organizations will be able to augment IT monitoring capabilities, regardless of their infrastructure type: private cloud, public cloud, or on-premise.

Centreon Cloud for time-efficient workflows

Centreon Cloud accelerates the process towards obtaining the full benefits of IT monitoring with Centreon. The time organizations must invest in the platform’s installation, deployment, and maintenance is considerably reduced. Centreon Cloud provides the added benefit of an always up-to-date platform, automatically applying the latest updates and product enhancement. This generates time savings in terms of maintenance, considering that an on-premise platform requires regular updates and security risks need to be anticipated.

“In an ever-changing environment, Centreon continuously adapts to new technologies. Our cloud offer will help clients ensure they get full value from their diverse technology stack without having to shoulder the totality of update-related costs at the IT monitoring level. They can focus on their core business,” says Julien Mathis, Centreon’s CEO.

Centreon Cloud is immediately available in beta for Centreon clients who wish to take part in the new SaaS platform’s final technical and operational fine-tuning. A controlled release of Centreon Cloud is slated for the first quarter of 2022, with general availability due in the second half of that year.
