Monitoring Connector Update – January 2026

Every month, Centreon extends its monitoring connector catalog and implements new connectors, allowing you to connect your IT monitoring with always more ITOps tools.

The result: increased visibility and business observability capabilities. We also offer enhancements and fixes on existing connectors.

For January 2026, we’re introducing four new monitoring connectors, one new notification connector, multiple improvements and a few fixes on existing connectors.

Many of these improvements are a direct result of the valuable suggestions and ideas from our The Watch community members. We thank Watchers for their significant contribution to the continuous evolution of our software.

Four new monitoring connectors to discover this month.

Apache CXF JMX Services

Apache CXF is an open-source Java framework used to build and run web services and APIs. It exposes rich runtime information through JMX, including service activity and fault metrics. This new connector leverages that integration to monitor CXF services directly at the middleware level and track JMX-reported service faults, detect abnormal error rates, and quickly identify issues impacting SOAP or REST services built on Apache CXF.

Centreon DEM (formerly Quanta) Rest API

This connector is a re-labelling of the former Quanta connector in Centreon DEM.

Microsoft SCCM CMA

Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) is an enterprise IT management platform used to deploy, manage, and secure devices and applications across an organization. As part of the Centreon Monitoring Agent (CMA) campaign, we are introducing the new Microsoft SCCM CMA monitoring connector. It covers the same monitoring scope as the existing Microsoft SCCM NSClient/NRPE connector already available in our catalog. This includes monitoring the status of sites and databases.

VMWare 8 VCSA RESTAPI

vCenter Server Appliance (VCSA) is the central management component of VMware vSphere, responsible for controlling and orchestrating hosts, clusters, and virtual machines. Its availability and performance are critical to the stability of virtualized environments.

With this connector, Centreon can monitor the health and status of core VCSA system components, track key system metrics, and automatically discover vCenter services to collect and monitor a wide range of performance indicators. This enables IT teams to quickly detect issues affecting the vSphere control plane and proactively maintain platform reliability.
