Every month, Centreon extends its monitoring connector catalog and implements new connectors, allowing you to connect your IT monitoring with always more ITOps tools.
The result: increased visibility and business observability capabilities. We also deliver enhancements and fixes on existing connectors.
For September 2025, we’re introducing two new monitoring connectors, multiple improvements, and a few fixes on existing ones.
Many of these improvements are a direct result of the valuable suggestions and ideas from our community members. We thank Watchers for their significant contribution to the continuous evolution of our software.

Reminder: Plugin Packs have been renamed. We are now referring to them as monitoring connectors.

Hyper-V 2012 CMA
Hyper-V 2012 is Microsoft’s hypervisor for Windows Server 2012, enabling efficient virtualization of server environments with advanced features for administration, migration, and high availability. As part of the Centreon Monitoring Agent campaign, we are introducing the new Hyper-V 2012 CMA monitoring connector. It covers the same monitoring scope as the existing Hyper-V 2012 NSClient++ NRPE connector in our catalogue. This includes monitoring of Nodes (integration service status, virtual machine replication, virtual machine snapshots, and virtual machine status) as well as Scvmm (integration services, snapshots, and virtual machine state).
VMware8 VM REST API
As part of the ongoing work to update our VMware connectors to the REST API version following the announcement of the end of the Perl SDK, we are offering this month the VMware8 VM REST API monitoring connector. This connector allows monitoring of a virtual machine’s CPU usage rate, memory usage rate, and the status of VMware Tools. Additional modes for this monitoring connector will be introduced before the end of the year.
