Monitoring Connectors Update – August 2025

Blog Monitoring Connectors Update – August 2025

Every month, Centreon extends its monitoring connector catalog and implements new connectors, allowing you to connect your IT monitoring with always more ITOps tools.

The result: increased visibility and business observability capabilities. We also offer enhancements and fixes on existing connectors.

For August 2025, we’re introducing three new monitoring connectors, multiple improvements, and a few fixes on existing ones.

Many of these improvements are a direct result of the valuable suggestions and ideas from our community members. We thank Watchers for their significant contribution to the continuous evolution of our software.

You may also read the related documentation, contact our sales team, or post a message on The Watch to learn more.

Reminder: Plugin Packs have been renamed. We are now referring to them as monitoring connectors.

3 new monitoring connectors to discover this month.

Active Directory CMA

Active Directory is a directory service developed by Microsoft, mainly for Windows Server environments, allowing for centralized organization, management, and security of elements within a company’s network. As part of the Centreon Monitoring Agent launch, we are introducing a new CMA Active Directory monitoring connector. It covers the same monitoring scope as the Microsoft Active Directory NSClient++ API connector currently in our catalog. This includes  diagnosing the domain controller and monitoring the Distributed File Systems Replication backlog.

Forcepoint SNMP

Forcepoint Secure SD-WAN is a network solution designed to optimize connectivity, security, and the management of wide-area networks (WAN) for multi-site enterprises. The Forcepoint SNMP monitoring connector enables monitoring  of, among other things, connections, CPU usage, dropped packets, system load, memory usage, number of rejected packets, swap, and uptime. Several discovery rules for hosts and services are also available. This connector is based on a community contribution and a The Watch idea.

LatenceTech RestAPI

LatenceTech is a technology startup specializing in connectivity optimization and network latency management, particularly for public and private 5G and 4G/LTE cellular networks. Their solutions are used to visualize, analyze, and anticipate network latency issues through active measurements, advanced AI/ML analyses, and anomaly detection tools. The LatenceTech RestAPI monitoring connector monitors statistics relating to the agent’s connectivity, forecasting, latency, radio, throughput, and TWAMP (Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol). A host discovery rule is also provided within this connector.
