Centreon redefines the rules of log management with Europe’s first sovereign solution

Newsroom Centreon redefines the rules of log management with Europe’s first sovereign solution

A fully European company, Centreon today launches Centreon Log Management — a sovereign solution deployed on OUTSCALE, powered by Mistral AI, with a unique and transparent pricing model.

Paris, June 11, 2026. Centreon, the Open Observability company, today announces the general availability of Centreon Log Management, its new log management solution, joining Centreon Infra Monitoring and Centreon Experience Monitoring within the Centreon Observability Platform. With this launch, Centreon addresses three concrete challenges its customers face every day: data sovereignty, tool interoperability, and cost predictability.

The only European log management solution on the market

Centreon Log Management is the only log management solution combining a fully European software vendor, data hosting in Europe, and a fully sovereign technology stack end to end. For hosting, Centreon relies on OUTSCALE, a Dassault Systèmes brand, ensuring a sovereign cloud fully anchored on European soil. Built-in AI capabilities are powered by Mistral, and application security by CrowdSec — two European leaders in their respective fields.

A launch built for European regulatory requirements

European organizations — both private enterprises and public sector entities — are navigating an unprecedented wave of regulatory pressure. NIS2, DORA, and GDPR all mandate strict auditability of IT system activity, extended log retention periods, and the ability to notify authorities of incidents within tight deadlines. In this context, entrusting logs to a vendor subject to the US CLOUD Act or FISA 702 is no longer a viable option for European organizations: it exposes them to real legal and operational risks that no compliance team can afford to ignore.

Centreon Log Management is purpose-built to meet these requirements. It is the market’s only sovereign solution, hosted in a sovereign cloud (OUTSCALE), compliant with NIS2, DORA, and ISO 27001 — with logs remaining under European jurisdiction, and no performance trade-off. This sovereignty is not contractual: it is structural.

Built on OpenTelemetry: an open architecture, free from vendor lock-in

Built end to end on the open OpenTelemetry standard, Centreon Log Management is the only solution on the market to adopt this architecture throughout. This design choice gives customers full freedom in how they collect and standardize logs, regardless of their infrastructure mix: on-premises, cloud, hybrid, containers, or OT. No proprietary format, no imposed collector dependency.

In practice, this means:

  • •   Collection from all sources — on-premises, cloud, hybrid, containers, and OT — with no proprietary agent required.
  • •   Automatic data standardization at ingestion, regardless of the original format.
  • •   Native correlation with data from other observability pillars to accelerate diagnosis.
  • •   No proprietary format, no dependency on an imposed collector.

AI-powered insights: less noise, better outcomes

To further reduce the operational burden on IT teams, Centreon Log Management embeds four AI-powered capabilities:

  • Natural-language querying: ask questions to interrogate logs, no specialized query language required.
  • Automatic OpenTelemetry configuration generation: AI produces and adapts collection configurations, reducing setup time and errors.
  • Anomaly detection: automatic identification of unusual patterns in log streams, with no manual rules to define.
  • Key event summaries: automated synthesis of significant events over a time window, to streamline incident reviews and operational debriefs.

A simple, transparent, and competitive pricing model

Where traditional log management solutions rely on opaque, unpredictable pricing, Centreon Log Management takes a radically different approach: storage-based billing, not ingestion-based. The principle is straightforward — you only pay for what you keep. Costs are tied directly to the volume of data retained, not to spikes in activity. The result: customers are billed on compressed volume rather than raw data throughput, for a predictable budget and no end-of-month surprises. Built-in consumption dashboards provide real-time visibility into costs and help anticipate future usage.

“With Centreon Log Management, we are taking a major strategic step forward. We are completing our observability platform with a solution that addresses a reality our customers know all too well: European sovereignty is no longer optional. It is a regulatory requirement and a competitive differentiator. We are proud to be, today, the only vendor capable of offering a fully European chain — from the software vendor to the cloud host — with no compromise on performance or pricing transparency.” — Julien Mathis, CEO of Centreon
