Precise indicator configuration

KPI configuration is atomic and gives great flexibility when designing BAs. Via weighting and blocking statuses, the BAs adapt to a wide range of specific scenarios: :

  • business indicators (application, quality of service, etc.).
  • grouping of control points (clusters, redundancy, etc.).

Measurement of quality of service and the notification process

By associating numerical values with Nagios© statuses, Centreon BAM calculates an operating value indexed from 0 to 100 in real-time, similar to a quality of service indicator.

Should the threshold be exceeded, the BAs can alert users in the same way as Nagios© hosts and services. It is therefore possible to alert users by BAs only, without using unit host and service alerts.

Drill-Down

BAs are composed of indicators of the "service" and “meta service" type and also other Business Activities. These inheritances can be used to construct relevant and macro-level indicators concerning the integrity of your computer production in real time.

"Drill-Down" operation gives great flexibility of navigation for Centreon BAM users.
